Ticket to Ride USA – Long Routes

Last Modified:
Ticket to Ride USA – Long Routes is an unofficial variant of Ticket to Ride using the 1910 expansion pack that mimics the setup of Ticket to Ride Europe.

To setup, separate 16-22 point tickets and use as long routes.

Following Europe setup, each player gets 1 long route, and 3 short routes. They must keep 2. When requesting additional cards, you must take 3, and keep at least 1. The long route bonus would be used.

Despite using European setup, the concept of Stations is not introduced.

  1. In this unofficial variant, the European rules are used. TTR Europe has long routes and short routes, and you pick 1 long and 3 short to start, the remaining long being put aside for the game. To reproduce this all cards with a point value of 16 or higher, 13 in all, were separated to create the long route set. This variant also used the Globetrotter card for most tickets collected, as opposed to the longest continuous route(although I think I got that too).

    And black triumphs yet again.
